Miguel Cabrera went 3 for 4 with 2 HRs and 4 RBI. Kosuke Fukudome went 4 for 5 with 4 Runs, a Double, a HR, and RBI, a Walk, and a SB. Aramis Ramirez went 4 for 6 with a Run, a Double, and 4 RBI. Nelson Cruz smacked 2 HRs with 3 RBI. Mike Fontenot drove in 4 Runs. Brian McCann and Matt Diaz each went 2 for 4 with 2 Runs, a HR, and 3 RBI. Raul Ibanez went 2 for 3 with 3 Runs, a HR, 3 RBI, and 2 Walks. Nick Markakis went 3 for 3 with 2 Runs, a Double, a HR , and 3 RBI. Akinori Iwamura went 3 for 4 with 3 Runs. Carlos Delgado went 2 for 5 with 2 Runs, a HR, and 4 RBI. Joey Votto went 3 for 5 with 2 Runs, a HR, and 3 RBI. Freddy Sanchez and Jack Wilson each banged out 4 Hits. Dan Uggla, Brian Schneider, Manny Ramirez, Yovani Gallardo,and Justin Morneau each had 3 RBIs. Kevin Youkilis, Jason Bartlett, Brandon Moss, Ryan Sweeney, Kurt Suzuki, Mark Ellis, and Carl Crawford each had 3 Hits.
Zack Greinke gave up three Hits in 6 scoreless Innings with 7 Ks for the Win. Scott Kamir held Boston to one Run on 5 Hits for a Win. Franklin Morales gave up 1 Run on 4 Hits with 6 Ks in a six-Inning Win. Chris Volstad gave up 2 Runs on 2 Hits with 7 Ks in a five-Inning Win. Koji Uehara gave up 1 Run in a five-Inning Win. Zach Miner gave up 1 Run in a 5-2/3 Inning Win. Zach Duke gave up 1 Earned Run in a 6-1/3 Inning Win. Chad Billingsley gave up 2 Runs on 2 Hits in a six-Inning Win. Yovani Gallardo also pitched well giving up 2 Runs with 6 Ks in 6-2/3 Innings for the W. Gavin Floyd gave up 2 Runs on 6 Hits with 9 Ks in 7 Innings, but took the Loss.
Nick Adenhart struck out 5 in six scoreless Innings, but got a no-decision. Nick was later tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident according to TMZ. My thoughts and prayers go out to Nick, his family, and the Angels organization.
