Lance Berkman
went 5 for 5 with 4 Runs, 2 Doubles, an RBI, and 2 SBs.  Garrett Anderson went 3 for 5 with a HR and 5 RBI.  Nate McLouth went 3 for 5 with 2 Runs, 2 HRs, and 3 RBI.  Brian Giles, Ryan Ludwick, and Luis Gonzalez each collected 4 Hits.  Manny Ramirez, Kevin Cash, Hideki Matsui, Rich Aurilia, Freddy Sanchez, Carlos Lee (3 RBI), Clint Barmes, Blake DeWitt (4 RBI) each had 3 Hits.  David Dellucci, Jose Castillo, Eric Bruntlett, Stephen Drew, Michael Young, Josh Hamilton, David Murphy, and Chris Iannetta each had 3 RBIs.

Four-way tie for top pitcher.  Gavin Floyd (8-1/3 Innings, 1 Hit, 1 unearned Run) took a no-hitter into the 9th, but it was broken up by Joe Mauer.  He improved to 3-1 with a 2.50 ERA.  Scott Olsen went 8-2/3 scoreless innings allowing 2 Hits while striking out 8 to improve to 4-1 with a 2.22 ERA. Tim Wakefield fired 8 two-hit scoreless Innings with 6 Ks to improve to 3-1 with a 3.33 ERA.  Carlos Zambrano allowed 3 Hits in 8 scoreless Innings to improve to 5-1 with a 1.80 ERA.  Jair Jurrjens allowed 1 Run in 6 Innings with 8 Ks to improve to 4-2 with a 2.84 ERA.  A.J Burnett got shelled (5 Runs in 6 Innings), but he struck out 10.  Justin Duchscherer gave up 2 Runs in 7 Innings to improve to 3-1 with a 2.45 ERA.  Sidney Ponson twirled another gem allowing 1 Run in 7 Innings to improve to 2-0 with a 1.33 ERA.

    Floyd was on his game. He seemed to get stronger as the game went on. Luckily Mauer has been swinging a hot bat.
