went 4 for 5 with 3 Runs, a Double, a Grand Slam, and 5 RBI.  Miguel Cabrera hit 2 HRs and had 4 RBI.  He’s quietly having a monster season (36 HR, 125 RBI).  Akinori Iwamura scored 4 Runs.  Shin-Soo Choo went 3 for 4 with 2 HRs and 4 RBI.  Joey Votto hit 2 HRs and had 4 RBI.  Jay Bruce hit 2 HRs and had 3 RBI.  Carlos Pena went 2 for 3 with 2 Runs, a Double, a HR, 4 RBI, and a Walk. Cameron Maybin went 4 for 5 with 3 Runs and 2 SBs.  Garrett Anderson went 4 for 5 with 2 Runs, a Double, and 2 RBI.  Mike Jacobs had 4 RBI.  Torii Hunter had 4 RBI.  Josh Hamilton had 4 Hits. Chase Headley went 4 for 6 with a Run, 2 Doubles, a Triple, an RBI, and a Walk.  Dewayne Wise hit 2 solo HRs.  Alexei Ramirez hit a Grand Slam.  Bengie Molina went 3 for 4 with a Run, a HR, and 4 RBI.  Kevin Kouzmanoff (3 Runs), Adrian Gonzalez (3 RBI), Will Venable (3 RBI), Nelson Cruz (3 RBI), Jose Reyes (3 Runs), Erick Aybar (3 Runs), Jorge Cantu (3 Runs), Jerry Hairson, Jr., Mark Teixeira, Mike Napoli, Lastings Milledge, Roger Bernadina, and Garrett Atkins each had 3 Hits.  Hunter Pence, Ryan Howard, Dan Uggla, Alfredo Amezaga, Chris Davis, Mark Teahan, and Evan Longoria each had 3 RBI.  Ryan Ludwick and John Baker each scored 3 Runs. 

Randy Wolf gave up 1 Run on 3 Hits with 7 Ks to improve to 11-12.  Edwin Jackson gave up 1 Run in 7-2/3 Innings with 5 Ks to improve to 12-11.  Ramon Martinez gave up 2 Runs in 6 Innings with 5 Ks for his first Win with Cincinnati.  Jorge de La Rosa gave up 1 RUn on 3 Hits in 6 Innings with 6 Ks to improve to 9-8.  Dana Eveland tossed 7 scoreless Innings with 7 Ks to improve to 9-8.  Barry Zito gave up 1 Run in 7-2/3 Innings with 6 Ks to improve to 10-16.  Felix Hernandez gave up 2 Runs in 8 Innings with 8 Ks, but lost. Max Scherzer gave up 3 Runs in 6 Innings with 8 Ks, but lost.  Ian Snell gave up 1 Earned Run on 3 Hits, but lost.

    Cabrara is one of the few Tigers to have picked it up as the season went on, with the bat at least. Now they can keep him at 1st and pray.
