Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 11/15/09
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night, but before we get started check out this week’s NBA schedule as you prepare to set your fantasy rosters (click here to see the article).
Drew Gooden, Dallas Mavericks
37 minutes, 11 points, 4-8 FG, 3-3 FT, 11 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, 1 turnover
Gooden started for Erick Dampier, and recorded his first double-double. Gooden will start against Milwaukee today as well, so Gooden is a decent addition for daily transaction leagues.
Rodrique Beaubois, Dallas Mavericks
19 minutues, 14 points, 6-6 FG, 2 three-pointers, 1 rebound, 4 assists, 2 steals
Just a decent game for Beaubois. No need to snatch him off the waiver wire.
Will Bynum, Detroit Pistons
29 minutes, 27 points, 11-16 FG, 4-4 FT, 1 three-pointer, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals
Bynum continues to score in bunches while Rip Hamilton is out.
Al Thornton, Los Angeles Clippers
33 minutes, 20 points, 7-16 FG, 6-9 FT, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 turnovers
Thornton cracked the 20 point mark for the first time this season. He’s averaging 15.7 points over his last three games. If he’s available in your league, he’s a good short-term fix.
David Andersen, Houston Rockets
25 minutes, 19 points, 9-14 FG, 1 three-pointer, 6 rebounds, 3 turnovers
Andersen easily had his best game on the season as Chuck Hayes and Luis Scola were nearly invisible. Don’t expect this sort of outburst regularly.
