Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 11/16/09

Nov 17, 2009

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

Ronald Murray, Charlotte Bobcats
34 minutes, 31 points, 13-21 FG, 3-6 FT, 2 three-pointers, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 2 steals, 3 turnovers
I guess Flip liked the trade as he responded with easily his best game of the young season.

Steve Blake, Portland Trail Blazers
40 minutes, 8 points, 3-11 FG, 2 three-pointers, 11 assists, 2 turnovers
What a great assist bonus if you were using Blake for three-pointers. Unless Andre Miller or Brandon Roy get hurt, Blake has limited fantasy value>

Rudy Fernandez, Portland Trail Blazers
32 minutes, 19 points, 7-12 FG, 1-1 FT, 4 three-pointers, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals, 3 turnovers
Rudy was able to take advantage of the additional playing time and opportunities afforded to him because of Travis Outlaw’s injury. If he’s available, Rudy makes a nice pick up.

Zaza Pachulia, Atlanta Hawks
20 minutes, 7 points, 2-5 FG, 3-4 FT, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 turnovers
Nice rebound total, but Zaza doesn’t have fantasy value unless their is an injury to Atlanta’s frontcourt.

Drew Gooden, Dallas Mavericks
40 minutes, 22 points, 9-13 FG, 4-5 FT, 14 rebounds, 1 turnover
Gooden had another big game with Erick Dampier out. Dampier will likely return on Wednesday as the Mavs face the Spurs, but Gooden should see more opportunities going forward.

Ersan Ilyasova, Milwaukee Bucks
33 minutes, 19 points, 7-13 FG, 1-2 FT, 4 three-pointers, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 3 turnovers
Ersan was listed in this week’s Waiver Wire Bin (click to read article) and continued his strong play of late.

Luke Ridnour, Milwaukee Bucks
34 minutes, 17 points, 7-14 FG, 3 three-pointers, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals
Ridnour averaged 35 minutes per game over the last two games and has subsequently experienced an increase in his production. If he continues to get 30+ minutes per game, Ridnour is a solid flex slot option.
