Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 12/7/09
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Ty Lawson, Denver Nuggets
24 MIN, 12 PTS, 4-9 FG, 3-4 FT, 1 3PM, 6 REB, 4 AST, 1 STL, 1 BLK, 1 TO
Perhaps Lawson was inspired by facing a similar small, speedy Guard in Allen Iverson. He’ll have good days and bad ones, but won’t be a consistent threat until he gets more run.
Samuel Dalembert, Philadelphia 76ers
41 MIN, 8 PTS, 4-8 FG, 15 REB, 6 BLK, 1 TO
After a couple of duds, he bouned back in a big way. Dalembert is playing inspired ball right now.
Allen Iverson, Philadelphia 76ers
38 MIN, 11 PTS, 4-11 FG, 3-4 FT, 5 REB, 6 AST, 1 STL, 1 TO
Talk about jumping right back in there. Willie Green’s production was destroyed (2 points on 1-7 shooting). Looks like A.I. is going to get a chance to put up numbers, but it won’t translate into Wins.
James Harden, Oklahoma City Thunder
30 MIN, 26 PTS, 6-13 FG, 13-14 FT, 1 3PM, 9 REB, 5 AST, 2 STL, 2 TO
Harden came through with a whale of an effort last night, but keep in mind it was against Golden State. He’s still worth owning in most leagues, but don’t expect this to be a stepping stone game.
Matt Bonner, San Antonio Spurs
32 MIN, 28 PTS, 10-14 FG, 4-5 FT, 4 3PM, 8 REB, 3 AST, 1 TO
This is not a typical performance from Bonner, but he does have some fantasy value. He hits nearly two three-pointers per game, and occasionally will help with points and rebounds.
