Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 2/16/10

Feb 17, 2010

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

Courtney Lee, New Jersey Nets
The inconsistent one had 21 points for the Nets tonight. He’s worth owning in daily leagues, but is hard to count on in weekly ones.

Jonas Jerebko, Detroit Pistons
Jonas had 21 points last night, but keep in mind he played Minnesota’s non-existent defense.

Erick Dampier, Dallas Mavericks
Despite the acquisition of Brendan Haywood, Dampier had 13 boards. Haywood had 6. Dampier also played 31 minutes to Haywood’s 15. Unfortunately Dampier injured his finger and could be out a while.

James Harden, Oklahoma City Thunder
The oldest looking 20 year old had 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists. He’s very inconsistent.

Robin Lopez, Phoenix Suns
Lopez is inconsistent, but you have to like last night’s 18 points and 10 rebounds.

David Andersen, Houston Rockets
Andersen had 18 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 3 three-pointers. Not bad for a guy who’s nearly a seven-footer. Unfortunately he’s not one to count on.

Anthony Morrow & C.J. Watson, Golden State Warriors
Both scored at least 20 with Monta Ellis out. They should continue to produce as long as he’s sidelined.

Shannon Brown, Los Angeles Lakers
He didn’t show anything in the dunk contest, but was a beast filling in for Kobe last night with 27 points and 10 rebounds.

DeAndre Jordan, Los Angeles Clippers
Jordan had 14 points and 11 rebounds. With Camby going to Portland, Jordan will see a boost in playing time making him a player worth owning.
