Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 2/21/10

Feb 22, 2010

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

Marquis Daniels, Boston Celtics
Daniels had 15 points and 6 rebounds for the C’s. Nate Robinson did not play in this one, which led to more opportunities for Daniels. Don’t expect him to hold value going forward.

Antonio McDyess, San Antonio Spurs
McDyess had a solid game against his old team scoring 13 with 8 rebounds. Unfortunately he’s not a viable fantasy option anymore.

Chase Budinger, Houston Rockets
Chase had 18 points and 5 rebounds. He’s been in double-figures the past five games making him a decent scoring option in daily leagues.

Damien Wilkins, Minnesota Timberwolves
Wilkins had 18 points, but the Wolves are so inconsistent. Only Love, Jefferson, Brewer, and Flynn can be trusted.

C.J. Watson, Golden State Warriors
Monta Ellis was back to his old ways (26 points), but Watson managed 15 of his own with 6 assists. It appears he’s safe to trust still. Anthony Morrow, on the other hand, has not responded well to Ellis’ return.

Nicolas Batum, Portland Trail Blazers
Batum had 14 points and 9 rebounds last night. He doesn’t get enough opportunities to make him a reliable fantasy option.
