Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 3/15/10

Mar 16, 2010

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

Toney Douglas, New York Knicks
Douglas turned in another good performance with 20 points, 7 assists, and 3 steals. The Knicks’ rotation can change in an instant, but for now roll with him.

Jrue Holiday, Philadelphia 76ers
Jrue did not disappoint in his cushy match-up with the Knicks. He had 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals.

Willie Green, Philadelphia 76ers
Green’s numbers (17 points) were another example of Knicks’ inflation.

Jason Maxiell, Detroit Pistons
Maxiell keeps chugging along. He had another double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds).

Michael Finley,  Boston Celtics
Finley had 15 points for the C’s. He’s not getting enough burn to matter.

Johan Petro, Denver Nuggets
Petro had his second double-double in three games. If you need rebounding in deep daily leagues, Petro could help.

Mike Miller, Washington Wizards
Miller had 14 points and 10 rebounds. His numbers won’t wow you, but he’s useful in daily leagues.

Sundiata Gaines, Utah Jazz
Gaines had 15 points against the Wizards. Overlook this line.

Chris Hunter, Golden State Warriors
Hunter had 22 points and 7 rebounds against the Lakers. Their rotation is crazy. Anthony Morrow and C.J. Watson appear to be on the outs. Reggie Williams had a decent run and played just 4 minutes. Hunter’s big game came out of nowhere.

Morris Peterson, New Orleans Hornets
Mo Pete had 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists against the Clippers. He’s averaging 10.2 points and 5.0 rebounds.

DeAndre Jordan, Los Angeles Clippers
Jordan had 11 points and 11 rebounds. He’s picked up his play a bit, but is still not a real solid play.

Travis Outlaw, Los Angeles Clippers
Outlaw had 13 points and 7 rebounds. He’s averaging 15.3 points in his last three games.
