Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 4/2/10

Apr 3, 2010

Happy 50th Birthday Carol!

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

Taj Gibson, Chicago Bulls
Gibson had 14 points and 16 boards.  He’s on fire.

Mike Miller, Washington Wizards
Miller continued his strong play with 15 points and 5 rebounds.

Chase Budinger, Houston Rockets
Budinger had 24 points and 5 rebounds against the Celtics. He’s averaging 16.0 points in his last five games and is an option down the stretch.

Kyle Lowry, Houston Rockets
Lowry added 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. He’s averaging 17.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists over his last three games.

Grant Hill, Phoenix Suns
Hill had 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists against the Pistons. He been quiet of late, but should still be owned in most leagues.

Jared Dudley, Phoenix Suns
Dudley added 20 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. He’s picked up his game recently, but is still only useful in daily leagues.

Jonas Jerebko, Detroit Pistons
Jerebko had a double-double (14 points, 10 rebounds). He’s only useful in daily leagues.

Hasheem Thabeet, Memphis Grizzlies
Thabeet had 3 points and 11 rebounds. Marc Gasol (neck) is out for the year. Thabeet won’t score, but he could be a nice source for boards and blocks if you’re desperate.

Sam Young, Memphis Grizzlies
Young added 19 points and 7 rebounds. He’s too inconsistent.

J.J. Redick, Orlando Magic
Redick had 15 points and 6 rebounds. He’s far too inconsistent.

Mickael Pietrus, Orlando Magic
Pietrus had 18 points and 6 rebounds giving him back-to-back solid games. He could have some value down the stretch.

Matt Bonner, San Antonio Spurs
Bonner had 15 points and 6 rebounds. Move along.

Reggie Williams, Golden State Warriors
Williams continues to excel. He had 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals against the Knicks.

Anthony Morrow, Golden State Warriors
Morrow dropped 35 points and 6 rebounds on the Knicks. He had 21 points in his previous game. Their rotation changes quickly, but you have to take note of an explosion like that.

Bonus 4/1 Breakouts
Mickael Pietrus, Orlando Magic
Pietrus had 24 points against Dallas.

Jose Juan Barea, Dallas Mavericks
Barea countered with 16 points. He too is inconsistent.

Martell Webster, Portland Trail Blazers
Martell had 17 points against the Nuggets. He’s slowed of late, but has been in double-digits the past two games.
