Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 10/31/09
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Chris Douglas-Roberts, New Jersey Nets
39 minutes, 25 points, 7-12 FG, 11-12 FT, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 turnover
CD-R finally put together a nice game. He’s starting on a team with limited options, and with Devin Harris sidelined will take on a larger role on offense.
Rafer Alston, New Jersey Nets
31 minutes, 20 points, 8-11 FG, 1-2 FT, 3 three-pointers, 2 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal, 4 turnovers
Good short-term fill-in player as long as Harris is out.
Andray Blatche, Washington Wizards
28 minutes, 30 points, 15-18 FG, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 1 turnover
Out of this world shooting. Blatche has had a great week. Beating a drum, but grab him if his available.
Marreese Spetights, Philadelphia 76ers
30 minutes, 20 points, 7-10 FG, 6-7 FT, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, 3 turnovers
It helps that the Knicks don’t play defense, but this is his second strong game. He had a dud in between so you never know what you’re going to get.
Danilo Gallinari, New York Knicks
42 minutes, 30 points, 9-22 FG, 4-4 FT, 8 three-pointers, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block, 1 turnover
Gallinair continues to put up impressive numbers. He’s killin’ it in 3′s.
Larry Hughes, New York Knicks
39 minutes, 18 points, 7-11 FG, 3-3 FT, 1 three-pointer, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, 1 block, 4 turnovers
Had a monster game as Nate Robinson (ankle) got hurt. Could be a nice play if Nate is out for an extended period.
Carl Landry, Houston Rockets
26 minutes, 16 points, 7-11 FG, 2-2 FT, 3 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block, 2 turnovers
Shot well, scored OK, but did little else. He’s had a very mediocre year to date, and not worth owning in typical leagues.
Brandon Jennings, Milwaukee Bucks
32 points, 24 points, 9-15 FG, 3-4 FT, 3 three-pointers, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 3 turnovers
Jennings followed up his brilliant debut with a solid performance.
Hakim Warrick, Milwaukee Bucks
33 minutes, 21 points, 5-14 FG, 10-15 FT, 1 three-pointer, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 3 turnovers
Much better performance for Warrick in game number two.
George Hill, San Antonio Spurs
21 minutes, 15 points, 6-11 FG, 2-2 FT, 1 three-pointer, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks, 2 turnovers
San Antonio is very deep. Hill has been a good role player, but not a good fantasy one.
Erick Dampier, Dallas Mavericks
33 minutes, 12 points, 6-10 FG, 10 rebounds,1 assist, 3 blocks
Solid game, but the ceiling is very low for Dampier.
Sebastian Telfair, Los Angeles Clippers
24 minutes, 12 points, 5-11 FG, 2 three-pointers, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 turnovers
He always seems to play for bad teams–and very inconsistently. Don’t fall into his trap.
