Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 11/11/09

Nov 12, 2009

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

Earl Watson, Indiana Pacers
35 minutes, 16 points, 4-6 FG, 5-6 FT, 3 three-pointers, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 2 turnovers
He played Golden State. Don’t put too much stock in this performance.

Taj Gibson, Chicago Bulls
34 minutes, 18 points, 8-13 FG, 2-4 FT, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks
Taj has a good shot at solid production while Tyrus Thomas is out.

Nazr Mohammed, Charlotte Bobcats
15 minutes, 13 points, 5-7 FG, 3-4 FT, 8 rebounds, 2 turnovers
He’s not getting enough playing time to be relevant.

Terrence Williams, New Jersey Nets
38 minutes, 10 points, 5-15 FG, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 turnovers
Williams is far too inconsistent and shooting just 35.8 percent from the floor.

Toney Douglas, New York Knicks
36 minutes, 23 points, 10-19 FG, 1-1 FT, 2 three-pointers, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 turnovers
Douglas is averaging 20 points per game over his last three games. He’s beginning to pick up steam.

Martell Webster, Portland Trail Blazers
25 minutes, 16 points, 5-9 FG, 4-4 FT, 2 three-pointers, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 turnovers
He played the Wolves so don’t put too much stock in his performance.

Rudy Fernandez, Portland Trail Blazers
26 minutes, 15 points, 5-7 FG, 1-1 FT, 4 three-pointers, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, 4 turnovers
Ditto Martell Webster.

J.R. Smith, Denver Nuggets
28 minutes, 18 points, 7-14 FG, 3-3 FT, 1 three-pointer, 2 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 turnovers
He’s back.

Ersan Ilyasova, Milwaukee Bucks
22 minutes, 17 points, 5-8 FG, 4-4 FT, 3 three-pointers, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 blocks1 turnover
He’s averaging 11.5 points, and 10.5 rebounds over his past two games. Worth keeping an eye on.

Goran Dragic, Phoenix Suns
25 minutes, 14 points, 5-11 FG, 1-2 FT, 3 three-pointers, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal, 6 turnovers
Goran played extensive minutes last night and contributed in multiple categories. If he can earn some additional minutes consistently, he’d be worth adding. In daily leagues, he’s a decent source for assists when the Suns take on a bad team.
