Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 1/16/10

Jan 17, 2010

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

Dahntay Jones, Indiana Pacers
Jones had 16 points last night, but with the Pacers getting healthy he’s not much of an option now.

Leandro Barbosa, Phoenix Suns
Barbosa had 17 as the Suns got throttled. He’s too inconsistent though.

Derrick Brown, Charlotte Bobcats
Brown had 18 points last night, which is more than he had in Charlotte’s previous eleven games.

Chris Wilcox, Detroit Pistons
Wilcox had a double-double (14 points, 10 rebounds), but it was against the Knicks.

Roger Mason, San Antonio Spurs
Mason had 17 points last night. He has use in daily transaction leagues if you’re looking for some scoring.

Carlos Delfino, Milwaukee Bucks
Delfino exploded for 28 points last night. He had 12 points and 7 rebounds in his previous game so he’s worth monitoring.

C.J. Miles, Utah Jazz
Miles had 19 points against the Bucks. He’s been quiet of late so put him on your watch as well.

Rasual Butler, Los Angeles Clippers
Butler dropped 33 in the Clippers’ loss to the Cavs. He struggled in his three previous games with 20 combined points, but is one of the few scoring options they have.

Craig Smith, Los Angeles Clippers
Craig Smith had 16 points and 6 rebounds one night after having 17 and 5. I’d like to see more before I would recommend adding him.
