Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 11/8/09

Nov 9, 2009

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

Marreese Speights, Philadelphia 76ers
23 minutes, 15 points, 7-9 FG, 1-1 FT, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, 1 turnover
He’s a little inconsistent, but when he’s on he simply doesn’t miss. He’s a decent source for rebounds as well.

Ben Wallace, Detroit Pistons
30 minutes, 2 points, 0-2 FG, 2-4 FT, 16 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 blocks, 2 turnovers
He doesn’t score, but if you need help with rebounds, steals, and blocks, Wallace can help.

Will Bynum, Detroit Pistons
28 minutes, 8 points, 3-8 FG, 2-3 FT, 8 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals, 2 turnovers
As long as Rip is out, Bynum has some fantasy value.
Channing Frye, Phoenix Suns
37 minutes, 18 points, 10 rebounds, 7-17 FG, 0-1 FT, 4 three-pointers, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block, 1 turnover
After three straight duds, it was nice to see Frye bounce back.

Thabo Sefolosha, Oklahoma City Thunder
33 minutes, 13 points, 4-6 FG, 2-2 FT, 3 three-pointers, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, 1 turnover
Despite the nice game, he hasn’t done enough to build my trust in him.

Ryan Gomes, Minnesota Timberwolves
33 minutes, 15 points, 7-14 FG, 0-1 FT, 1 three-pointer, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 block, 1 turnover
Gomes is inconsistent, but can provide some help in a few categories. Hard to rely on though.

Nathan Jawai, Minnesota Timberwolves
21 minutes, 16 points, 7-11 FG, 2-3 FT, 6 rebounds, 1 turnover
The big fella had a nice game, but don’t put much stock in it.

Joel Przybilla, Portland Trail Blazers
26 minutes, 7 points, 3-5 FG, 1-2 FT, 13 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 turnover
Unless Greg Oden gets hurt, Pryzbilla doesn’t have much value.

Travis Outlaw, Portland Trail Blazers
17 minutes, 19 points, 5-9 FG, 6-6 FT, 3 three-pointers, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block
He’s not playing enough minutes to be a major fantasy contributor. However, if an injury opened up additional minutes, Outlaw’s stock would increase significantly.

Omri Casspri, Sacramento Kings
36 minutes, 12 points, 4-6 FG, 0-4 FT, 4 three-pointers, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, 3 turnovers
The talented Rookie contributed in multiple categories, something that should continue as long as Kevin Martin is out.

Donte Greene, Sacramento Kings
17 points, 6-12 FG, 5-5 FT, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block, 1 turnover
My man from Cuse had a nice game, but I’m not ready to endorse him just yet.
