Dec 24, 2009

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

Jameer Nelson, Orlando Magic
29 MIN, 15 PTS, 6-11 FG, 1-2 FT, 2 3PM, 4 REB, 4 AST, 2 STL, 4 TO
This is the type of performance that helps endorse him for starting lineups.

Ryan Anderson, Orlando Magic
19 MIN, 14 PTS, 5-10 FG, 1-2 FT, 3 3PM, 9 REB, , 1 TO
This was only his second double-digit scoring effort in his past eleven games.

Quentin Richardson, Miami Heat
31 MIN, 11 PTS, 4-8 FG, 1-2 FT, 2 3PM, 7 REB, 1 AST
Q is averaing 14.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.0 three-pointers in his last three games.

Corey Brewer, Minnesota Timberwolves
38 MIN, 17 PTS, 7-11 FG, 3-4 FT, 1 REB, 1 AST, 1 STL, 3 TO
Brewer is averaging 15.0 points in his last four games. He’s doing little more than score though.

Yi Jianlian, New Jersey Nets
30 MIN, 22 PTS, 7-12 FG, 4-4 FT, 4 3PM, 8 REB, 2 TO
Impressive line for a player who has been out since early November.

Courtney Lee, New Jersey Nets

Lee stepped up his game with Chris Douglas-Roberts out.

Juwan Howard, Portland Trail Blazers
37 MIN, 12 PTS, 6-9 FG, 12 REB, 1 AST, 3 TO
Now that Joel Pryzbilla has joined Greg Oden on the sidelines, Howard is relevant again.

Bayless came to play with Brandon Roy out.

Roger Mason, San Antonio Spurs

Big Z was a beast last night, but it was just his third game in double-figures in his last 16 games.

Omri Casspi, Sacramento Kings

    Hey Les,

Happy holidays brother man. Who is a better play for the rest of the season, Yi Jianlin or Mike Dunleavy? I know you need more specifics to give a good answer, but just in general, who offers better production? Dunleavy’s recent slump kind of worries me given his injuries.

    Thanks man

I sort of like Yi. I think he’s going to thrive in New Jersey.
