Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 12/29/09
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Delonte West, Cleveland Cavaliers
29 MIN, 17 PTS, 6-11 FG, 4-6 FT, 1 3PM, 5 REB, 2 AST, 2 STL, 2 TO
West is doing a bit of everything averaging 9.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.0 steals, and 0.6 blocks in his last five games.
Roy Hibbert, Indiana Pacers
26 MIN, 17 PTS, 6-15 FG, 6 REB, 2 AST, 3 TO
Hibbert has to be one of the most frustrating players in the league so far. He’ll have solid games like this and then go through a stretch where he can’t stay out of foul trouble. He’s likely been added and dropped a few times in your league already, and stability is not in sight.
Brad Miller, Chicago Bulls
22 MIN, 16 PTS, 6-9 FG, 4-4 FT, 3 REB, 1 AST, 2 STL, 1 BLK
Miller will have games like this from time to time, but isn’t worthy of a roster spot.
Shane Battier, Houston Rockets
43 MIN, 20 PTS, 7-12 FG, 1-1 FT, 5 3PM, 2REB, 3 AST, 1 BLK, 2 TO
Battier came out of nowhere to score above 15 points for just the second time of the year. He contributes across the board so is worth owning in most formats. Games like this are just a nice bonus.
Roger Mason, San Antonio Spurs
31 MIN, 7-14 FG, 4 3PM, 5 REB, 3 AST, 1 BLK, 1 TO
Mason continues to play well. He’s averaging 12.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.0 three-pointers in his last five games.
Jordan Farmar, Los Angeles Lakers
25 MIN, 12 PTS, 5-10 FG, 2 3PM, 5 AST, 3 STL, 1 TO
Everyone seems to get a boost when they play Golden State. Don’t sweat this performance.
