Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 1/4/10

Jan 5, 2010

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

Taj Gibson, Chicago Bulls
27 MIN, 10 PTS, 4-11 FG, 2-2 FT, 9 REB, 3 STL
Nearly the second straight double-double for Taj.

Thabo Sefolosha, Oklahoma City Thunder
28 MIN, 7 PTS, 3-6 FG, 1 3PM,9 REB, 2 AST, 2 BLK
Thabo is averaging 7.8 rebounds in his last four games.

Devin Brown, New Orleans Hornets
37 MIN, 30 PTS, 11-20 FG< 3-5 FT, 5 3PM, 4 REB, 1 AST, 2 TO
Brown is averaging 17.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.0 three-pointers in his last five games.

C.J. Miles, Utah Jazz
22 MIN, 15 PTS, 5-14 FG, 2-2 FT, 3 3PM, 1 REB, 1 AST, 2 STl, 1 TO
Miles is too hit or miss to rely on.

Paul Millsap, Utah Jazz
33 MIN, 6 PTS, 3-11 FG, 13 REB, 2 AST, 2 TO
Millsap is averaging 9.4 rebounds over his past five games.

Martell Webster, Portland Trail Blazers
40 MIN, 25 PTS, 9-15 FG, 2-3 FT, 5 3PM, 6 REB, 1 STL, 1 TO
Webster is starting to find his groove. He’s averaging 20.3 over his past three games. Of course that’s when Portland has had an even shorter rotation with LaMarcus Aldridge and Steve Blake out.

Juwan Howard, Portland Trail Blazers
36 MIN, 16 PTS, 8-11 FG, 4 REB, 1 STL, 2 TO
He was basically the only big man available for Portland.

Les, I picked up Ersan Ilyasova for Ben Wallace but now Anthony Morrow is available (not sure what these guys are thinking). Morrow is starting again GS and I’m fining it difficult not to release Ersan for Morrow, give me a reason not to brother lol

Depends on what you need. Ilyasova is more likely to replace Big Ben’s boards. Morrow is inconsistent, which is why he was probably released.
