Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 1/6/10

Jan 7, 2010

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

Randy Foye, Washington Wizards
29 MIN, 18 PTS, 8-12 FG, 2 3PM, 2 REB, 2 AST, 3 TO
Nick Young started for Gilbert Arenas, but Foye still got a lot of run. He should be fantasy worthy with Arenas out.

Anderson Varejao, Cleveland Cavaliers
27 MIN, 12 PTS, 3-5 FG, 6-6 FT, 8 REB, 3 AST, 1 STL, 1 BLK
Varejao has really been hitting the boards of late.

J.J. Redick, Orlando Magic
29 MIN, 22 PTS,  5-14 FG, 10-11 FT, 2 3PM, 3 REB
Three straight games in double-figures for Redick. He’s still only useful in daily transaction leagues.

Rasheed Wallace, Boston Celtics
36 MIN, 16 PTS, 6-11 FG, 1-1 FT, 3 3PM, 9 REB, 1 AST, 2 STL, 1 BLK
It was Wallace’s second straight game with 16 points. He has increased value for the next week while KG is out.

Corey Brewer, Minnesota Timberwolves
28 MIN, 19 PTS, 9-16 FG, 1-2 FT, 3 REB, 2 TO
He did face Golden State, but he’s been in double-figures in 12 of his last 15 games.

Sam Young, Memphis Grizzlies
28 MIN, 22 PTS, 7-11 FG, 8-10 FT, 1 REB, 1 STL, 1 BLK, 3 TO
Young is averaging 15.3 points over his past four games, but does little else.

C.J. Miles, Utah Jazz
32 MIN, 24 PTS, 10-16 FG, 1-2 FT, 3 3PM, 2 REB, 3 AST, 1 STL, 2 TO
Miles has been inconsistent, but is worth keeping an eye on in case he becomes more reliable.
