Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 2/17/10

Feb 18, 2010

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

Roy Hibbert, Indiana Pacers
Hibbert rewarded those brave enough to play him with a 14 point, 7 rebound, 6 block effort. He’s inconsistent, but has played well of late.

Ryan Gomes, Minnesota Timberwolves
The Wolves are puzzling. Gomes scores 16 points with 7 rebounds one night after scoring just2 points. They also lost to the Wizards without recently traded Antawn Jamison.

Andray Blatche, Washington Wizards
Blatche had 33 points and 13 rebounds for the Wizards. His value should soar with Jamison gone.

JaVale McGee, Washington Wizards
McGee also had a double-double (14 points, 11 rebounds). He added five blocks. He could also see a bump in his value with Brendan Haywood gone.

Quentin Richardson, Miami Heat
Q had 16 points and 14 boards for the Heat. His value could soar depending on Dwyane Wade and Jermaine O’Neal’s injuries.

Taj Gibson & Brad Miller, Chicago Bulls
Taj dominated the Knicks with 14 points and 16 boards.  Miller was also strong with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Both will see their values slip when Joakim Noah comes back, but ride them while they are hot.

Shane Battier, Houston Rockets
Battier had 20 points and 10 boards. He’s inconsistent, but usually contributes in most categories.

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, Milwaukee Bucks
Luc had 18 points and 8 rebounds. He’s really been a bright spot of late. He’s averaging 13.8 points and 9.6 rebounds over his last five games.
