Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 3/16/10

Mar 17, 2010

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

Stephen Graham, Charlotte Bobcats
Graham had 19 points and 8 rebounds. As long as Gerald Wallace is out, he should see a little bump in value.

Mike Dunleavy, Indiana Pacers
Dunleavy had 15 points against the Bobcats. You can’t trust him.

Jason Maxiell, Detroit Pistons
Maxiell has been a beast. He had 10 points and 15 rebounds against the Cavs. It’s to the point where I need to stop mentioning Maxiell. He simply should be in your lineup.

Josh Boone, New Jersey Nets
Boone had 13 points and 20 rebounds against the Hawks. While I don’t see that kind of performance again, it certainly got my attention. Keep an eye on Boone. He could be a decent source of rebounds down the stretch.

Terence Williams, New Jersey Nets
Williams had 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. That was the good news. The bad news is he shot 5 for 16. He’s still worth a look in daily leagues.

Brad Miller, Chicago Bulls
Miller turned in another double-double (10 points, 11 rebounds). He’s a decent option for the short-handed Bulls.

Ronald Murray, Hakim Warrick, & Jannero Pargo, Chicago Bulls
Flip had 25 points and 5 steals. Warrick had 22 points. Pargo had 12 points and 8 assists. They are all decent spot plays while the Bulls are without Derrick Rose and Luol Deng.

Hasheem Thabeet, Memphis Grizzlies
Thabeet actually showed a pulse starting for Marc Gasol.  He finished with 10 points and 9 rebounds.

Al Thornton, Washington Wizards
Thornton had 16 points against the Nuggets. Consistency is an issue.

Alonzo Gee, Washington Wizards
Gee had 13 points and 10 rebounds. Make him have  a few good games before you consider adding him.

Ryan Gomes, Minnesota Timberwolves
Gomes had 18 points against the Suns. He can be used in spot duty in deep leagues.

Louis Amundson, Phoenix Suns
Amundson had 20 points and 7 rebounds as the Suns brutalized the Wolves. Don’t put too much stock in this performance.

Robin Lopez, Phoenix Suns
Lopez had 12 points and 9 rebounds. He’s a better option than Amundson, but not a great one.
