Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Cartier Martin, Washington Wizards
Martin went 5 for 9 with a three-pointer for 17 points. He hit all six of his free throws and added two steals and a block. He has to prove this wasn’t a fluke before I would consider adding him.
Hakim Warrick, Phoenix Suns
Warrick recorded a double-double (18 points, 11 rebounds). He was much more productive than he was in the opener (10 points, 2 rebounds). Consistency will likely be an issue, but he’ll get his opportunities.
Channing Frye, Phoenix Suns
Frye had just three points in the opener so his owners had to be pleased with the 14 points and 2 blocks he had last night. He knocked down two three-pointers.
Grant Hill, Phoenix Suns
Hill also had a much better game scoring 8 points to go along with 12 rebounds after opening with 4 points and 1 rebound. Unfortunately with their deep roster, it’s going to be hard to predict (aside from Steve Nash and Jason Richardson) who is going to produce on a given night.
