Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Luol Deng, Chicago Bulls
It’s not like Deng is available in fantasy leagues, but I had to mention the 40 points he dropped on Portland. He made 14 of 19 shots. After averaging just 11 points in the first two games, Deng’s big night was what his fantasy owners needed.
Gary Neal, San Antonio Spurs
Neal scored 16 points, including 4 three-pointers. He also grabbed six boards. He’s not a good bet to repeat.
Ryan Gomes, Los Angeles Clippers
After totaling 16 points in his first three games, Gomes scored 14 last night. That doesn’t sound like a player that should be on your radar.
DeMar DeRozan, Toronto Raptors
DeRozan got a slight bump in minutes (up to 32) and responded with 24 points on 7 of 12 shoting. The talent is there, so he is one that should be owned in fantasy leagues.
