Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 11/16/10

Nov 17, 2010

.
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
.
Thaddeus Young, Philadelphia 76ers
Young scored 17 points (8-12 FG, 1-1 FT) with 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal. He’s averaging 14.7 points in his past three games.
.
Sonny Weems, Toronto Raptors
Weems scored 16 points (7-13 FG, 2-2 3PM) with 3 rebounds and 2 assists. He’s averaging 15.4 points in his past five games.
.
Linas Kleiza, Toronto Raptors
Kleiza scored 15 points (7-11 FG, 1-2 FT) with 5 rebounds. He’ll have to get more playing time to make him a useful fantasy option.
.
Nick Young, Washington Wizards
With John Wall out Young got some extra run. He responded with 20 points (8-15 FG, 3-4 FT, 1-4 3PM) with 6 rebounds and a steal. He’s a decent short-term option.
.
Shannon Brown, Los Angeles Lakers
Brown scored 21 points (7-9 FG, 3-3 FT, 4-5 3PM) with 3 rebounds and a steal. He’s averaging 17.3 points in his past three games.
.
Wesley Matthews, Portland Trail Blazers
Matthews exploded for 30 points (11-19 FG, 3-4 FT, 5-10 3PM) with 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and a block playing a team high 43 minutes. He’s averaging 22 points in his past two games.
.
Kyle Korver, Chicago Bulls
Korver only scored 10 points (3-4 FG, 2-2 FT, 2-2 3PM), but he stuffed the box score with 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. The performance was nice, but he’s not a fantasy regular.
.
Brad Miller, Houston Rockets
Miller bounced back with 21 points (8-15 FG, 4-4 FT, 1-3 3PM) against his former team with 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal. He remains a good short-term option.
.
Landry Fields, New York Knicks
Fields had a monster game with 21 points (10-15 FG, 1-1 FT) with 17 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals. He’s averaging 15.0 points and 9.5 rebounds and his past four games.
.
Gary Forbes, Denver Nuggets
Forbes scored 19 points (8-13 FG, 0-1 FT, 3-3 3PM) with 9 rebounds and 1 steal. He’s not a good bet to produce like that in the near future.
