Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
J.J. Hickson, Cleveland Cavaliers
Hickson had another strong showing pouring in 31 points on 11 of 17 shooting. He’s averaging 18.3 points and 5.5 rebounds.
Lou Williams, Philadelphia 76ers
Williams continues to shine for the Sixers. He made 15 of 17 free throws en route to a 30 point game. He added three 3s.
Nick Young, Washington Wizards
No word on whether or not Gilbert Arenas faked an injury, but we do know that Young was on fire hitting 7 of 11 shots for 20 points. He had a trio of three-poitners.
Eddie House & James Jones, Miami Heat
This duo got some extra run thanks to the blowout of Minnesota. House scored 15 with four three-pointers while Jones scored 17 with five. They are both inconsistent, but of the two, Jones is the better pickup.
Wesley Matthews, Portland Trail Blazers
Matthews scored 18 points with five rebounds and four assists. His point totals have been 13, 4, 13,5, and now 18. Wildly inconsistent. Look elsewhere.
Matt Barnes, Los Angeles Lakers
Barnes had a double-double (16 points, 14 rebounds) against Memphis. A performance like this could lead to an increase role, especially the way Ron Artest is struggling shooting the ball.
