Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 11/22/10

Nov 23, 2010

.
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
.
Nate Robinson, Boston Celtics
Nate filled in for Rondo again and had 16 points (6-9 FG, 4-5 3PM) with 3 rebounds and 10 assists. Rondo should return soon, but Nate is a nice play until then.
.
Brandon Rush, Indiana Pacers
Rush scored 20 points (9-15 FG, 2-4 FT) with 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal. He’s averaging  16 points in his past three games.
.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Miami Heat
Ilgauskas scored 12 points (4-7 FG, 4-4 FT) with 7 rebounds, an assist, and 4 blocks. He’s averaging 8.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks over the past three games. He gets a boost with Udonis Haslem out.
.
Darko Milicic, Minnesota Timberwolves
Darko scored 21 points (9-14 FG, 3-4 FT) with 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 blocks. He’s averaging 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 4.5 blocks in his past two games.
.
Luke Ridnour, Minnesota Timberwolves
Ridnour scored 17 points (7-14 FG, 2-2 FT, 1-3 3PM) with 5 rebounds and 7 assists. He’s averaging 13.3 points and 5.3 assists in his past three games, but his value will take a hit when Jonny Flynn returns.
.
Thabo Sefolosha, Oklahoma City Thunder
Sefolosha scored 13 points (5-5 FG, 3-6 FT) with 11 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal. He’s played better recently, but still isn’t a good fantasy option.
.
Kevin Lowry, Houston Rockets
Lowry scored 13 points (6-10 FG, 1-1 FT) with a rebound, 8 assists, and 6 steals. He’s averaging 7.4 assists and 2.8 steals in his past five games, and should be owned in virtually all fantasy leagues.
.
Courtney Lee, Houston Rockets
Lee scored 16 points (7-14 FG, 2-6 3PM) with 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. This was simply a fluke game against a team (Phoenix) that doesn’t play a lot of defense.
.
Matt Bonner, San Antonio Spurs
Bonner scored 15 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 FT, 4-4 3PM) with 7 rebounds and 2 assists. He doesn’t get enough opportunities to be a fantasy threat.
.
C.J. Miles, Utah Jazz
Miles scored 20 points (8-13 FG, 3-3 FT, 1-3 3PM) with 4 rebounds, 4 assists, a steal, and 2 blocks. He’s averaging 14.8 points in his past five games.
.
DeMarcus Cousins, Sacramento Kings
Cousins scored 18 points (5-13 FG, 8-10 FT) with 9 rebounds and an assist. He’s averaging 10.8 points and 8.4 rebounds in his past five games.
.
Reggie Williams, Golden State Warriors
Williams scored 16 points (4-13 FG, 7-8 FT, 1-7 3PM) with a rebound and 2 assists. He’s averaging 12.8 points over his past five games, but doesn’t chip in elsewhere.
.
Rodney Carney, Golden State Warriors
Carney scored 16 points (7-9 FG, 2-3 3PM) with a steal. He hasn’t done enough to merit fantasy consideration.
.
Al-Farouq Aminu, Los Angeles Clippers
Aminu scored 16 points (6-11 FG, 2-2 FT, 2-5 3PM) with 4 rebounds, an assist, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. After a stinker it appears he’s back on track.
