Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 11/6/10

Nov 7, 2010

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Daniel Gibson, Cleveland Cavaliers
Gibson scored 19 on 7 of 11 shooting. He knocked down two three-pointers, had four boards, two assists, and two steals. His scoring will fluctuate, but he should be owned in most leagues.
JaVale McGee, Washington Wizards
McGee had a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds) with three blocks. He’s a great option for blocked shots. He’s marginal elsewhere.
Shane Battier, Houston Rockets
Battier benefited from the extended playing time as the Rockets went into overtime. He scored 14 points, knocked down two three-pointers, had seven rebounds, and four assists. His scoring “outburst” raised his average to 5.6.
Francisco Garcia, Sacramento Kings
Garcia scored 21 points, hitting 7 of 14 shots. When he plays at least 29 minutes (four times this year) he is averaging 19.5 ppg. When he plays fewer minutes (twice this year) he is averaging 4 ppg. He should continue to be a key part of the Kings’ rotation and should be owned in most fantasy leagues.
