Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 11/7/10

Nov 8, 2010

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Evan Turner, Philadelphia 76ers
Turner is off to a bumpy start, but recorded a double-double (14 points, 10 rebounds) against the Knicks. He made 6 of 11 shots and added three assists. He’s not ready to be a must-start, but this game is good for his confidence.
Jared Dudley, Phoenix Suns
It was Dudley’s turn to step up his production. He had 15 points on 5 of 8 shooting with 6 rebounds. Hakim Warrick, despite being held to 6 points, is the Phoenix bench player that you want.
Richard Hamilton, Detroit Pistons
Rip dropped 27 points on the Warriors. He was 10 of 17 from the field and had 5 rebounds. Looks like he’s safe to use in fantasy lineups.
Charlie Villanueva, Detroit Pistons
Villanueva had a double-double (16 points, 10 rebounds). His scoring was close to his average (14.4), but the boost in rebounds was likely a mirage. Still, he’s worthy of roster spot and is a decent option when his team plays four games in a week.
Jordan Hill, Houston Rockets
Hill enjoyed his best game of the season (14 points, 6 rebounds), but it can be attributed to playing the Wolves.
Matt Barnes, Los Angeles Lakers
Barnes had 13 points on 6 of 7 shooting with 6 rebounds and 4 assists. He’s a good bench piece for the Lakers, but not for your fantasy team.
