Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 12/10/10

Dec 11, 2010

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Nazr Mohammed, Charlotte Bobcats
Mohammed scored 13 points (5-6 FG, 3-4 FT) with 3 rebounds, an assist, a steal, and 5 blocks. He’s not much of a fantasy option, but does have flashes.
Nick Young, Washington Wizards
Young scored 17 points (6-13 FG, 2-3 FT, 3-7 3PM) with 4 rebounds, and assist, and a steal. He can flat out score when he gets the opportunity. He’s just a little inconsistent.
Al Harrington & Gary Forbes, Denver Nuggets
With Carmelo out, Al Harrington erupted for 31 points (12-19 FG, 1-1 FT, 6-11 FT) with 6 rebounds and 3 assists. He hasn’t done much of late, but has the ability to. Forbes added 15 points (7-8 FG, 1-1 3PM) with 6 rebounds, an assist, a steal, and 2 blocks. He’s not a player I’d rely on.
Sonny Weems, Linas Kleiza & Leandro Barbosa, Toronto Raptors
Weems scored 21 points (10-17 FG, 1-4 3PM) with 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. Kleiza scored 26 points (11-16 FG, 4-5 3PM) with 12 rebounds, and assists, and a block. Barbosa added 22 points (8-12 FG, 4-6 FT, 2-5 3PM) with a rebound, 2 assists, and a steal. Of the three, Weems is the guy to own.
Serge Ibaka, Oklahoma City Thunder
Ibaka scored 18 points (8-13 FG, 2-2 FT) with 9 rebounds, a steal, and 3 blocks. He’s averaging 3.6 blocks in his past five games.
Luke Ridnour, Minnesota Timberwolves
Ridnour scored 20 points (7-11 FG, 3-4 FT, 3-5 3PM) with 3 rebounds, 10 assists, and 3 steals. I keep saying Jonny Flynn should be back soon, but ride Ridnour until he does.
Courtney Lee, Houston Rockets
Lee scored 16 points (7-10 FG, 2-2 3PM) with 3 rebounds, an assist, and a steal. He’s not much of a fantasy option.
DeJuan Blair, San Antonio Spurs
Blair scored 16 points (7-10 FG, 2-4 FT) with 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals, and a block. He’s averaging 13.7 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 2.7 steals in his past three games.
Brandon Bass, Orlando Magic
Bass scored18 points (8-11 FG, 2-2 FT) with 8 rebounds and an assist. If he can continue to play signficant minutes, he could become a fantasy option.
C.J. Miles, Utah Jazz
Miles scored 26 points (9-13 FG, 4-6 FT, 4-6 3PM) with a rebound and an assist. He can put up points, but he’s very inconsistent.
