Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 12/16/10
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Al Thornton & Nick Young, Washington Wizards
Thornton scored 18 points (6-14 FG, 5-6 FT, 1-1 3PM) with 4 rebounds, a steal, and a block. Young added 22 points (6-14 FG, 9-10 FT, 1-3 3PM) with 3 rebounds and a steal. They both get a boost as John Wall and Andray Blatche are dealing with injuries.
Kris Humpries & Travis Outlaw, New Jersey Nets
Humphries scored 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-4 FT) with 17 rebounds, an assist, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. He’s averaging 10.3 points and 13.5 rebounds in his past four games. Outlaw added 13 points (3-8 FG, 7-8 FT) with 6 rebounds, a steal, and a block. With Terence Williams dealt and Anthony Morrow dealing with an injury, Outlaw gets a decent boost in fantasy value.
Marvin Williams & Jeff Teague, Atlanta Hawks
Williams scored 26 points (9-15 FG, 7-9 FT, 1-3 3PM) with 5 rebounds, an assist, and a steal. He’s averaging 14.3 points in his past four games. Teague stepped up with Jamal Crawford out scoring 18 points (8-11 FG, 2-3 FT, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. He only has value if Crawford’s back keeps him out of the lineup again.
Nate Robinson & Glen Davis, Boston Celtics
Nate scored 14 points (6-15 FG, 2-7 3PM) with 5 assists and 3 steals. He’s a nice short-term addition with Rajon Rondo out for a couple of weeks. Big Baby added 18 points (8-15 FG, 2-2 FT) with 10 rebounds and 2 assists. He’s averaging 15.5 points in his past six games and 15.0 points in his past ten games.
Ty Lawson, Denver Nuggets
Lawson had another solid start filling in for Chauncey Billups scoring 15 points (6-10 FG, 2-2 FT, 1-2 3PM) with 3 rebounds and 7 assists.
