Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 12/23/10

Dec 24, 2010

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Gary Neal, San Antonio Spurs
Neal scored 16 points (4-11 FG, 5-7 FT, 3-7 3PM) with 2 rebounds. He’s a good short-term option with George Hill out.
J.J. Redick & Brandon Bass, Orlando Magic
Redick scored 17 points (6-8 FG, 5-5 3PM) with 3 rebounds and 4 assists. I can’t imagine he remains a fantasy option once J-Rich and Agent Zero get more in the mix. Bass bounced back with 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-2 FT) of his own to go along with 6 rebounds and 2 assists. He remains a decent fantasy option.
Earl Boykins, Milwaukee Bucks
Boykins scored 19 points (9-17 FG, 1-2 3PM) with 2 rebounds, an assist, and a steal. He’s averaging 20.5 points in his past two games.
Jared Dudley, Phoenix Suns
Dudley scored 33 points (11-16 FG, 4-6 FT, 7-10 3PM) with 12 rebounds and 3 steals. He should have added value while Vince Carter (knee) is sidelined, but that isn’t expected to be for an extended period.

That was a good win for Orlando over San Antonio. It’ll be interesting to see how they fair against Boston on Christmas Day. Some intriguing games for the holiday! I’m hoping both Chicago and OKC win.

    Merry Christmas, Ryan!
