Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 12/26/10

Dec 27, 2010

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Mickael Pietrus, Phoenix Suns
Pietrus scored 25 points (9-14 FG, 2-2 FT, 5-8 3PM) with 3 rebounds and a steal. He’ll have to establish a role with the Suns before I get excited about him. However, he’s officially on the radar.
Luke Ridnour, Minnesota Timberwolves
Ridnour scored 23 points (7-12 FG, 4-4 FT, 5-5 3PM) with 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and a steal. He’s definitely keeping Jonny Flynn at bay.
Anthony Parker, Cleveland Cavaliers
Parker scored 21 points (9-18 FG, 3-9 3PM) with 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and a steal. He’s averaging 14.8 points and 5.6 rebounds in his past five games.
Tracy McGrady, Detroit Pistons
T-Mac scored 15 points (7-13 FG, 1-2 3PM) with 2 rebounds and an assist. He’s averaging 11.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in his past five games.
Marvin Williams, Atlanta Hawks
Williams scored 18 points (5-11 FG, 7-7 FT 1-3 3PM) with 5 rebounds. He’s averaging 14.2 points and 6.0 rebounds in his past five games.
Trevor Ariza, New Orleans Hornets
Ariza recorded a double-double scoring 12 points (5-11 FG, 2-6 3PM) with 10 rebounds, and 3 steals. His production fluctuates.
Jodie Meeks, Philadelphia 76ers
Meeks shot poorly from the field (3-12), but salvaged it by hitting 9 or 10 free throws. He added a rebound, an assist, a steal, and two three-pointers. He is very inconsistent.
