Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 12/27/10

Dec 28, 2010

.
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
.
J.J. Redick, Orlando Magic
Redick scored 15 points (6-14 FG, 3-7 3PM) with 2 rebounds, an assist, and a steal. He’s averaging 16.0 points in  his past four games.
.
Chris Wilcox, Detroit Pistons
Wilcox scored 15 points (5-7 FG, 5-6 FT) with 8 rebounds, a steal, and 3 blocks. The performance came out of nowhere, and I would need to see more before I’d add him.
.
Keyon Dooling, Milwaukee Bucks
Dooling scored 15 points (5-13 FG, 4-4 FT, 1-6 3PM) with 4 rebounds, 9 assists, and a steal. He played 39 minutes to Earl Boykin’s 23. Dooling is averaging 12.6 points and 5.8 assists in his past five games.
.
Shawn Marion, Dallas Mavericks
Marion scored 20 points (10-15 FG) with 9 rebounds and a block. He’s averaging 11.3 points and 8.7 rebounds in his past three games.
.
James Harden, Oklahoma City Thunder
Harden scored 18 points (5-9 FG, 5-6 FT, 3-7 3PM) with 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. He’s averaging 15.2 points and 1.8 steals in his past five games.
.
Wesley Johnson & Luke Ridnour, Minnesota Timberwolves
Johnson scored 24 points (8-12 FG, 2-2 FT, 6-8 3PM) with 3 assists and a steal. The Wolves are crowded at the wing with not much difference between Johnson, Martell Webster, and Corey Brewer so consistency is an issue. Ridnour added 12 points (3-7 FG, 6-7 FT) with 4 rebounds, 11 assists, and a steal. He continues to hold off Jonny Flynn.
.
Linas Kleiza, Toronto Raptors
Kleiza scored 22 points (10-16 FG, 2-5 3PM) with 4 rebounds, an assist, and a block. He’s averaging 21.3 points in his past four games.
.
Tony Allen, Memphis Grizzlies
Allen scored 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-4 FT) with 8 rebound, 2 assists, 6 steals, and a block. He’s had a couple of nice games in his past four, but will need steady minutes to be a fantasy contributor.
.
Shane Battier, Houston Rockets
Battier scored 15 points (6-7 FG, 1-2 FT, 2-3 3PM) with 6 rebounds, a steal, and 2 blocks. He’s back to being an across the board contributor, and should be owned in virtually all leagues.
.
Omri Casspi, Sacramento Kings
Casspi scored 16 points (6-12 FG, 4-7 3PM) with 2 rebounds and 2 assists. He had 12 combined points in his previous four games so I’ll have to see more.
.
Jodie Meeks, Philadelphia 76ers
Meeks scored 16 points (6-14 FG, 2-3 FT, 2-8 3PM) with 3 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal, and a block. He scored 17 in his last game so keep an eye on him.
