Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 12/3/10

Dec 4, 2010

.
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
.
James Harden, Oklahoma City Thunder
Harden got another boost from Kevin Durant’s absence scoring 20 points (5-14 FG, 7-8 FT, 3-7 3PM) with 4 rebounds and 3 assists. His added value ends when Durant returns.
.
Leandro Barbosa, Toronto Raptors
Barbosa scored 22 points (7-12 FG, 6-9 FG, 2-5 3PM) with a rebounds and 2 steals. He’s averaging 14.2 points in his past five games, making him a decent bench option.
.
Jordan Farmar & Travis Outlaw, New Jersey Nets
Farmar shined again with Devin Harris out scoring 16 points (6-18 FG, 3-3 FT, 1-5 3PM) with 5 rebounds, and 10 assists. He’s golden as long as Harris is out. Meanwhile Outlaw scored 21 points (7-17 FG, 6-6 FT, 1-6 3PM) with 6 rebounds, an assist, 3 steals, and a block. He’s averaging 16.7 points in  his past three games.
.
Marvin Williams, Atlanta Hawks
Williams scored 22 points (7-12 FG, 8-8 FT) with 2 rebounds and 4 steals. He’s averaging 16.8 points and 6.5 rebounds in his past four games. He should see an increase in scoring while Joe Johnson is out the next month or two.
.
Quentin Richardson, Orlando Magic
Q scored 15 points (5-12 FG, 2-2 FT, 3-8 3PM) with 7 rebounds and an assist. He’s averaging 12.4 points and 5.4 rebounds in his past five games.
.
Kyle Lowry, Brad Miller & Courtney Lee, Houston Rockets
Lowry exploded for 28 points (11-15 FG, 2-2 FT, 4-5 3PM) with 3 rebounds, 12 assists, and 2 steals. He’s averaging 12.4 points and 8.2 assists in his past five games. Aaron Brooks’ return isn’t too far off. Meanwhile Miller scored 23 points (7-7 FG, 6-7 FT, 3-3 3PM) with 7 rebounds and 3 assists. He’s averaging 13.3 points in his past four games. Finally Lee scored16 points (7-9 FG, 1-2 FT, 1-2 3PM) with 4 rebounds. He’s not much of a fantasy option.
.
Josh McRoberts, Indiana Pacers
McRoberts scored 16 points (6-9 FG, 4-6 3PM) with 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and a block. He doesn’t play enough minutes to be a viable fantasy option.
.
Jason Thompson, Sacramento Kings
Thompson scored 19 points (9-13 FG, 2-5 FT) with 10 rebounds. He’s averaging 14.7 points and 8.7 rebounds in his past three games. He’s a nice option as long as he remains a starter.
