Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 1/26/11
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Anthony Morrow, New Jersey Nets
Morrow scored 19 points (8-12 FG, 3-4 3PM) with 4 rebounds, an assist, and a steal. He’s averaging 17.5 points in his past two games.
Marreese Speights, Philadelphia 76ers
Speights scored 23 points (10-12 FG, 3-3 FT) with 9 rebounds and an assist. The outburst came out of nowhere so keep that in mind.
Will Bynum, Detroit Pistons
Bynum scored 19 points (8-12 FG, 3-4 FT) with 4 rebounds and 4 assists. I’d need to see more before I’d add him.
Earl Boykins & Carlos Delfino, Milwaukee Bucks
Boykins scored 20 points (7-11 FG, 6-8 FT) with a rebound and 3 assists. He’s slowed of late, but is still a solid bench option. Delfino added 15 points (5-11 FG, 5-9 3PM) with 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal. He’s a solid option going forward.
Randy Foye, Los Angeles Clippers
Foye scored 20 points (7-17 FG, 4-4 FT, 2-5 3PM) with a rebound, an assist, and a steal. He’s averaging 17.5 points in his two starts since Eric Gordon went down.
Kwame Brown & Gerald Henderson, Charlotte Bobcats
Brown had his second straight double-double with 12 points (4-5 FG, 4-4 FT) with 10 rebounds and an assist. He’s a decent add. Henderson scored 15 points (6-12 FG, 3-4 FT) with 3 rebounds, an assist, and 2 blocks. He has some potential, but I’d look for more before I’d add him.
Marcin Gortat, Phoenix Suns
Gortat scored 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-4 FT) with 7 rebounds and a block. He’s averaging 11.6 points and 9.6 rebounds in his past five games.
