Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 12/7/10

Dec 8, 2010

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Jordan Farmar, New Jersey Nets
Farmar scored 16 points (5-10 FG, 3-4 FT, 3-7 3PM) with 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal. He remains a decent fantasy option despite Devin Harris’ return.
J.J. Hickson, Cleveland Cavaliers
Hickson scored 18 points (6-12 FG, 6-8 FT) with 4 rebounds, a steal, and a block. He hasn’t been effective enough for fantasy purposes.
Jodie Meeks & Thaddeus Young, Philadelphia 76ers
Meeks scored 16 points (6-13 FG, 4-9 3PM) with a rebound and an assist. He’s a good addition for scoring and three-pointers as long as he remains in the starting lineup. Young scored 26 points (11-12 FG, 3-3 FT, 1-1 3PM) with 11 rebounds and 2 steals. He’s averaging 23 points in his past two starts.
Ian Mahinmi, Dallas Mavericks
Mahinmi scored 12 points (2-5 FG, 8-10 FT) with 10 rebounds, 2 steals, and a block. He’s not a fantasy option.
Nick Young, Washington Wizards
Young exploded for 30 points (10-18 FG, 4-4 FT, 6-11 3PM) with 3 rebounds, an assist, 3 steals, and a block. When he gets the playing time, he’s quite productive.
