Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 1/7/11

Jan 8, 2011

.
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
.
Tyler Hansbrough, Indiana Pacers
Hansbrough scored 23 points (10-19 FG, 3-4 FT) with 12 rebounds, an assist, a steal, and 2 blocks. He’s worth a look after this performance.
.
Jodie Meeks, Philadelphia 76ers
Meeks scored 24 points (8-11 FG, 4-5 FT, 4-7 3PM) with 3 rebounds and 3 assists. He had 14 combined points in his previous four games so I’m not too excited by this showing.
.
Jordan Farmar, New Jersey Nets
Devin Harris left this game and Farmar finished with 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-7 3PM) with 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal. He filled in admirably the last time Harris went down so he’s worth keeping an eye on.
.
Luke Harangody, Boston Celtics
Harangody scored 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-1 3PM) with 11 rebounds, an assist, and 2 blocks. The performance came out of nowhere, but see what follows.
.
Leandro Barbosa, Toronto Raptors
Barbosa scored 15 points (5-13 FG, 2-2 FT, 3-8 3PM) with a rebound, 7 assists, and a steal. He’s averaging 15.4 points in his past five games.
.
Brandon Bass & Ryan Anderson, Orlando Magic
Bass scored 18 points (8-12 FG, 2-2 FT) with 9 rebounds. He’s averaging 13.0 points in his past four games. Anderson added 16 points (6-12 FG, 1-1 FT, 3-7 3PM) with 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block. He’s averaging 12.5 points in his past four games.
.
Carlos Arroyo, Miami Heat
Arroyo scored 15 points (6-11 FG, 2-2 FT, 1-3 3PM) with 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal. Everybody knows it’s a three player team.
.
Chris Douglas-Roberts
CD-R exploded for 30 points (12-19 FG, 4-6 FT, 2-3 3PM) with 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 4 blocks. He had 24 combined points in  his previous four games so proceed with caution.
.
Manny Harris & J.J. Hickson, Cleveland Cavaliers
Harris scored 16 points (6-9 FG, 3-3 FT, 1-2 3PM) with 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. He gets a short-term boost with Daniel Gibson out. Hickson added 17 points (5-13 FG, 7-9 FT) with 9 rebounds and 2 steals.
.
Marco Belinelli, New Orleans Hornets
Belinelli scored 17 points (5-11 FG, 4-4 FT, 3-4 3PM) with a rebound and three steals. He’s averaging 16.5 points in his past two games.
.
Shawne Williams, New York Knicks
Williams scored 15 points (5-12 FG, 1-1 FT, 4-9 3PM) with 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. He’s averaging 11.0 points in his past four games.
.
Goran Dragic, Phoenix Suns
Dragic scored 17 points (5-12 FG, 5-5 FT, 2-4 3PM) with 2 assists and 3 steals. He’s not a consistent fantasy option.
