Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 2/1/11

Feb 2, 2011

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
DeJuan Blair, San Antonio Spurs
Blair scored 14 points (7-13 FG) with 12 rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block. He had 14 points and 12 rebounds in his last game too. He has four double-doubles in his past seven games and five in his past nine. The trouble is he’s either great or awful.
Jason Smith, New Orleans Hornets
Smith, filling in for Emeka Okafor, scored 20 points (9-11 FG, 2-3 FT) with 5 rebounds and 2 steals. He gets a boost with Okafor out, but he likely won’t put up numbers like that too many nights.
Donte Greene, Sacramento Kings
Greene scored 15 points (6-11 FG, 2-2 FT, 1-2 3PM) with 2 rebounds, an assist, and a block. He’s not a fantasy option until he gets more and steadier minutes.
