Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 2/27/11

Feb 28, 2011

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Shawn Marion, Dallas Mavericks
The Matrix scored 20 points (10-17 FG) with six rebounds, two assists, and two steals. He’s really feeling it right now and should be owned in all fantasy leagues.
Grant Hill and Jared Dudley, Phoenix Suns
Hill scored 34 points (14-26 FG, 2-2 FT, 4-7 3PM) with nine rebounds, four assists, a steal, and a block. He’s been quiet of late, but this game shows what he’s capable of. Dudley added 15 points (6-9 FG, 1-3 FT, 2-3 3PM) with two rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block. He is not a reliable fantasy option.
A.J. Price, Indiana Pacers
Price scored 18 points (6-12 FG, 2-2 FT, 4-6 4PM) with five rebounds, an assist, and a steal. I still need more convincing.
Wesley Johnson and Anthony Tolliver, Minnesota Timberwolves
Johnson scored 17 points (6-14 FG, 1-2 FT, 4-9 3PM) with seven rebounds, three assists, four steals, two block. He’s scored 39 in the past two games. Tolliver scored 12 points (3-8 FG, 4-4 FT, 2-3 3PM) with ten rebounds, an assist, and a block. He’s not a fantasy option.
Brandon Bass, Orlando Magic
Bass scored 17 points (5-8 FG, 7-8 FT) with four rebounds, an assist, and three blocks. He’s a borderline fantasy option.
