Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Hakim Warrick, Phoenix Suns
Warrick scored 16 points (7-12 FG, 2-2 FT) with seven rebounds, two assists, and a steal. He just doesn’t get enough run to be a fantasy contributor.
Anthony Morrow and Kris Humphries, New Jersey Nets
Morrow scored 22 points (6-16 FG, 5-5 FT, 5-10 3PM) with three rebounds and two assists. He is averaging 18.0 points in his past four games. Humphries added 16 points (8-15 FG) with 15 rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block. He’s averaging 13.7 points and 10.7 rebounds in his past three games.
J.R. Smith, Denver Nuggets
Smith took advantage of Danilo Gallinari’s absence by scoring 19 points (6-10 FG, 5-6 FT, 2-4 3PM) with seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals. He’s averaging 16.3 points in his past four games.
Marcus Thornton and Omri Casspi, Sacramento Kings
Thornton scored 29 points (9-16 FG, 10-12 FT, 1-4 3PM) with four rebounds, two assists, three steals, and a block. He’s averaging 19.3 points in three games since the trade. Casspi added 15 points (5-10 FG, 3-4 FG, 2-6 3PM) with eight rebounds and two steals. He’s averaging 10.8 points in his past five games.
