Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 2/9/11

Feb 10, 2011

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
DeJuan Blair, San Antonio Spurs
Blair scored 28 points (14-21 FG) with 11 rebounds, a steal, and two blocks. He’s averaging 15.2 points and 10.2 rebounds in his past five games.
Will Bynum, Detroit Pistons
Bynum scored 17 points (6-10 FG, 4-4 FT, 1-3 3PM) with seven assists and a steal. He had 21 in his previous game so he’s a player to keep an eye on.
Josh McRoberts, Indiana Pacers
McRoberts scored 12 points (4-8 FG, 4-5 FT) with nine rebounds and seven assists. He’s averaging 10.7 points and 7.3 rebounds in his past three games.
Jodie Meeks, Philadelphia 76ers
Meeks scored 17 points (5-12 FG, 5-5 FT, 2-8 3PM) with eight rebounds, an assist, and a steal. He’s averaging 13.6 points and 2.2 three-pointers in his past five games.
Aaron Gray & Willie Green, New Orleans Hornets
Gray scored ten points (4-7 FG, 2-4 FT) with ten rebounds and an assist. He has two double-doubles in the past three games. He could be a low-end plug-in while Okafor is out. Green added 19 points (8-14 FG, 1-2 FT, 2-4 3PM) with a rebound. I don’t love him as a fantasy option.
Sasha Vujacic, New Jersey Nets
Vujacic scored 25 points (9-14 FG. 2-2 FT, 5-7 3PM) with four rebounds and four assists. He hasn’t been productive of late, but he can be when he gets the opportunity.
Cartier Martin, Washington Wizards
Martin scored 15 points on five three-pointers. He added four rebounds. Still, I’d look elsewhere.
Leandro Barbosa, Toronto Raptors
Barbosa scored 20 points (7-16 FG, 5-5 FT, 1-4 3PM) with a rebound and an assist. I’d give him a little more time before inserting him back in your linupes.
Ryan Gomes & Eric Bledsoe, Los Angeles Clippers
Gomes scored 18 points (8-11 FG, 2-4 3PM) with three rebounds, three assists, and a steal. He’s pretty inconsistent. Bledsoe added 16 points (6-13 FG, 2-2 FT, 2-4 3PM) with eight rebounds and three assists. That game was far from the norm. Remember he was playing the Knicks.
Timofey Mozgov, New York Knicks
Mozgov scored 18 points (8-9 FG, 2-2 FT) with six rebounds, a steal, and a block. Nice game, but he’s not much of an option.
Jose Juan Barea, Dallas Mavericks
Barea scored 20 points (8-12 FG, 2-3 FT, 2-4 3PM) with two rebounds and three assists. He’s averaging 15.4 points in his past five games.
Samuel Dalembert, Sacramento Kings
Dalembert scored 20 points (7-8 FG, 6-7 FT) with  seven rebounds. He’s averaging 9.8 points and 7.8 rebounds in his past five games.
J.R. Smith, Denver Nuggets
Smith scored 16 points (7-12 FG, 1-2 FT, 1-5 3PM) with seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals. He is a must-own, but he is frustrating because he’s so inconsistent.
Reggie Williams, Golden State Warriors
Williams scored 18 points (7-10 FG, 4-4 3PM) with two rebounds, six assists, and a steal. He’s averaging 13.4 points and 2.2 three pointers in the past five games.
