Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 3/12/11

Mar 13, 2011

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
O.J. Mayo, Memphis Grizzlies
Mayo scored 19 points (8-13 FG, 3-3 FT) with three rebounds and an assist. He’s averaging 10.8 points in his past five games.
Mike Bibby, Miami Heat
Bibby scored 17 points (5-5 3PM, 2-2 FT) with two rebounds, four assists, and a steal. He’s not a good fantasy option.
Jeff Teague, Atlanta Hawks
Teague scored 24 points (11-17 FG, 1-4 FT, 1-2 3PM) with four rebounds, three assists, three blocks, and five steals. Talk about stuffing a box score. He has not done much to date, but he got the start in this one. Keep an eye on him.
Eric Bledsoe, Los Angeles Clippers
Bledsoe scored 23 points (9-14 FG, 5-9 FT) with eight rebounds and six assists. The Clippers pounded Washington in this one, which gave Bledsoe more run.
Jordan Crawford, Washington Wizards
Crawford scored 16 points (4-16 FG, 8-8 FT) with three rebounds, two assists, and three steals. He’s scored 38 points in his past two games.
Carl Landry, New Orleans Hornets
Landry scored 20 points (5-10 FG, 10-11 FT) with four rebounds, two assists, a steal, and two blocks. He’s averaging 13.0 points in his past five games and 15.0 in his past three.
Kyle Korver and C.J. Watson
Korver scored 17 points (7-10 FG, 3-3 3PM) with six assists, a steal, and a block. Watson added 16 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 FT, 4-5 3PM) with five rebounds and eight assists. They both got extra run because the Bulls crushed the Jazz.
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, Milwaukee Bucks
Mbah a Moute scored 14 points (4-8 FG, 6-7 FT) with 12 rebounds, three assists, and five steals. He’s averaging 10.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.3 steals in  his past five games.
Antonio McDyess, San Antonio Spurs
McDyess scored 12 points (5-10 FG, 2-2 FT) with 12 rebounds and an assist. He could get more run down the stretch as the Spurs rest for the playoffs, but he’s not a reliable fantasy option.
Courtney Lee, Houston Rockets
Lee scored 16 points (5-12 FG, 5-6 FT, 1-3 3PM) with seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals. He’s averaging 14.0 points in his past five games.
Shawn Marion, Dallas Mavericks
The Matrix scored 25 points (11-20 FG, 3-4 FT) with 12 rebounds and two blocks. He’s averaging 14.6 points and 9.2 rebounds in is past five games.
Chris Wilcox, Detroit Pistons
Wilcox scored 21 points (10-12 FG, 1-1 FT) with three rebounds. He’s not a fantasy option.
J.R. Smith, Denver Nuggets
Smith exploded for 31 points (11-22 FG, 9-16 3PM) with four rebounds, four assists, and two steals. He’s capable of huge games like this, but consistency is an issue.
