Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 3/14/11

Mar 15, 2011

.
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
.
Glen Davis, Boston Celtics
Big Baby scored 16 points (7-16 FG, 2-2 FT) with 14 rebounds. He could have some value down the stretch.
.
Daequan Cook, Oklahoma City Thunder
Cook scored 18 points (6-9 3PM) with three rebounds, an assist, and a steal. He’s not a fantasy option.
.
Trevor Booker, Washington Wizards
Booker scored 14 points (4-11 FG, 6-9 FT) with 13 rebounds, an assist, two steals, and a block. He’s a decent option as long as Andray Blatche is out.
.
J.R. Smith, Denver Nuggets
Smith scored 18 points (5-12 FG, 3-4 FT, 5-8 3PM) with three rebounds and two steals. He’s averaging 20.3 points in his past three games. He’ll lose some luster when Danilo Gallinari returns, but play him while he’s hot.
.
Willie Green, New Orleans Hornets
Green scored 18 points (7-16 FG, 1-1 FT, 3-4 3PM) with two rebounds and a steal. The Hornets have a logjam with Green, Jarrett Jack, and Marco Belinelli now making them all tough to rely on.
.
Eric Bledsoe, Los Angeles Clippers
Bledsoe scored 19 points (6-11 FG, 7-7 FT) with two rebounds, four assists, a steal, and a block. He’s averaging 12.4 points in his past five games and 21.0 in his past two.
.
Josh Childress, Phoenix Suns
Childress scored 15 points (7-10 FG, 1-1 3PM) with six rebounds, four assists, a steal, and a block. He’s not a fantasy option at the moment.
.
Chuck Hayes, Houston Rockets
Hayes scored 21 points (9-15 FG, 3-6 FT) with nine rebounds, an assist, a steal, and two blocks. He’s averaging 9.6 points and 9.0 rebounds in his past five games.
.
Jodie Meeks, Philadelphia 76ers
Meeks scored 17 points (5-9 FG, 3-4 FT, 4-8 3PM) with two rebounds, an assist, and a steal. He’s averaging 14.8 points in his past five games.
.
C.J. Miles, Utah Jazz
Miles scored 19 points (9-21 FG, 1-5 3PM) with eight rebounds, an assist, and a steal. He’s averaging 16.4 points in his past five games.
.
Al Thornton and Vladimir Radmanovic, Golden State Warriors
Thornton scored 23 points (7-8 FG, 9-12 FT) with three rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block. He can produce, but doesn’t get enough opportunities.  Radman added 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-6 3PM) with four rebounds, an assist, and a block. He doesn’t do enough to consider.
