Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 3/18/11
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Trevor Booker and Jordan Crawford, Washington Wizards
Booker scored 26 points (12-15 FG, 2-2 FT) with 13 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block. Crawford added 25 points (12-27 FG, 1-2 FT) with two rebounds, three assists, and a steal. They are both solid options while the Wizards are depleted with injury. Maurice Evans added 15 points, six rebounds, and three steals, but I’m not as interested in him.
Leandro Barbosa, Toronto Raptors
Barbosa scored 15 points (4-11 FG, 4-5 FT, 3-5 3PM) with two rebounds and an assist. He’s averaging 18.2 points in his past five games.
Toney Douglas, New York Knicks
Douglas played the role of super sub scoring 20 points (8-14 FG, 4-8 3PM) with seven rebounds and eleven assists. He should be in your fantasy lineup.
Glen Davis, Boston Celtics
Big Baby scored 16 points (6-9 FG, 4-9 FT) with seven rebounds and a steal. He’s averaging 12.5 points in his past five games.
Patrick Patterson, Houston Rockets
Patterson scored 18 points (8-12 FG, 2-2 FT) with 12 rebounds, an assist, and four blocks. It was his second straight double-double.
Carlos Delfino, Milwaukee Bucks
Delfino scored 26 points (9-13 FG, 8-11 3PM) with eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals. He’s been very inconsistent of late. Luc Richard Mbah a Moute scored 15 points with five rebounds, but I wouldn’t consider him a fantasy option.
Wesley Johnson, Minnesota Timberwolves
Johnson scored 29 points (11-21 FG, 4-4 FT, 3-11 3PM) with four rebounds, an assist, three steals, and a block. He totaled 16 points in his previous four games so don’t get too carried away.
