Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 3/27/11

Mar 28, 2011

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Jodie Meeks, Philadelphia 76ers
Meeks scored 22 points with three three-pointers and an assist. He’s averaging 15.0 points and three treys in his past five games. He doesn’t do much in the other categories, but if you need scoring he’s a decent option.
Jason Thompson, Sacramento Kings
Thompson scored 15 points with 11 rebounds, two assists, and a steal. He’s averaging 8.0 rebounds in his past five games, but the scoring hasn’t been there.
Marvin Williams, Atlanta Hawks
Williams scored 31 points with seven rebounds, two assists, a steal, a block, and three three-pointers. He’s averaging 15.5 points in his past six games.
Chase Budinger, Houston Rockets
Budinger scored 16 points with two rebound, two assists, and four three-pointers. He should be a solid option down the stretch as long as his ankle cooperates.
George Hill, San Antonio Spurs
Hill dropped 30 points with an assist, a steal, and a three-pointer. He’s been quiet of late but could get some extra run down the stretch as the Spurs rest their starters.
Tony Allen and O.J. Mayo, Memphis Grizzlies
Allen scored 23 points with four rebounds, two assists, five steals, and a block. He’s averaging 15.0 points and 3.2 steals in his past five games. Mayo added 17 points and an assist. He’s not productive enough for fantasy purposes.
Darko Milicic and Anthony Tolliver, Minnesota Timberwolves
Milicic scored 15 points with nine rebounds, two steals, and two blocks. He’s not much of a fantasy option. Tolliver added 16 points with 15 rebounds, four assists, and four blocks. He outplayed Anthony Randolph by a mile meaning it’s just going to be hard to rely on either of them while Kevin Love is out.
Serge Ibaka, Oklahoma City Thunder
Ibaka scored 18 points with eight rebounds and two blocks. he’s averaging 13.0 points and 10.2 rebounds in his past five games.
Maurice Evans and Yi Jianlian, Washington Wizards
Evans scored 23 points with eight rebounds and a block. He’s averaging 13.4 points in his past five games. Jianlian added 12 points with ten rebounds and an assist. He’s not a great fantasy option.
Carl Landry, New Orlenas Hornets
Landry scored 24 points with ten rebounds, an assist, and a block. He’s a solid option with David West out.
Jared Dudley, Phoenix Suns
Dudley scored 20 points with five rebound, five assists, and three steals. He’s averaging 13.2 points in his past five games.
