Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Damion Jones, New Jersey Nets
Jones scored 15 points (5-6 FG, 5-5 FT) with seven rebounds, three assists, and a steal. Look elsewhere.
Brandon Bass, Orlando Magic
Bass scored 16 points (6-9 FG, 4-4 FT) with three rebounds, an assist, a steal, and two blocks. He’s averaging 12.3 points in his last four games.
Nikola Pekovic, Minnesota Timberwolves
Pekovic scored 16 points (6-8 FG, 4-4 FT) with a rebound and a block. Look elsewhere.
Samardo Samuels and Luke Harangody, Cleveland Cavaliers
Samuels scored 15 points (5-9 FG, 5-10 FT) with six rebounds, an assist, and a steal. He’s averaging 12.8 points in his past five games, and 16.7 in his past three. Harangody scored 18 points (6-11 FG, 4-4 FT, 2-6 3PM) with four rebounds and two assists. Look elsewhere.

Mickael Pietrus, Phoenix Suns

Matt Bonner and Gary Neal, San Antonio Spurs
Bonner scored 18 points (6-7 3PM) with five rebounds, an assist, and a steal. He’s not a reliable fantasy option. Neal added 16 points (7-8 FG, 1-3 FT, 1-1 3PM) with three rebounds and four assists. Tony Parker returned, which hurts his and George Hill’s value. Parker only played 23 minutes because they ran the Heat out of the building.
