Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 3/7/11
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Gerald Henderson and Shaun Livingston, Charlotte Bobcats
Henderson scored 20 points (10-18 FG) with three rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a block. He’s averaging 11.2 points in his past five games. Livingston added 17 points (6-11 FG, 5-6 FT) with two rebounds, an assist, two steals, and a block. He’s averaging 11.5 points in his past four games.
Derrick Favors, Utah Jazz
Favors scored 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-4 FT) with eight rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block. The Jazz got their teeth kicked in, but Favors could emerge as a fantasy option thanks to injuries in the Jazz’ frontcourt.
Toney Douglas, New York Knicks
Douglas scored 20 points (6-9 FG, 3-4 FT, 5-7 3PM) with three rebounds and six assist. Chauncey Billups should be back soon, meaning Douglas’ value takes a big hit.
Jarrett Jack and Marco Belinelli, New Orleans Hornets
Jack scored 23 points (8-19 FG, 6-7 FG, 1-2 3PM) with four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Belinelli added 17 points (6-12 FG, 2-2 FT, 3-6 3PM) with nine rebounds and a steal. Both are decent options, especially while Chris Paul’s concussion keeps him out.
Tony Allen, Memphis Grizzlies
Allen scored 20 points (7-12 FG, 5-7 FT, 1-2 3PM) with six rebounds, two assists, and a steal. He’s not producing like he was before the Grizzlies acquired Shane Battier, but he still has his moments.
Courtney Lee, Houston Rockets
Lee scored 19 points (7-13 FG, 5-5 FT) with four rebounds, a steal, and two blocks. He’s averaging 13.8 points in his past five games.
