Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 4/6/11

Apr 7, 2011

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Toney Douglas, New York Knicks
Douglas scored 17 points with three rebounds, two assists, and a block. He’s averaging 15.8 points in his past five games.
Paul George, Indiana Pacers
George scored 23 points with six rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a block. He could get some extra run as the season winds down.
Reggie Evans, Jerryd Bayless, and Sonny Weems, Toronto Raptors
Evans scored 15 points with 13 rebounds. He won’t usually score like that, but he can help you in the rebounding category. Bayless scored 28 points with two rebounds, three assists, and a steal. Jose Calderon returned, making him a risky play. Weems added 17 points with four rebounds, four assists, and a steal. He’s been in double-figures for three straight games.
Brandon Bass, Orlando Magic
Bass scored 19 points with eight rebounds and an assist. He’s averaging 13.8 points in his past five games.
Gerald Henderson and Dante Cunningham, Charlotte Bobcats
Henderson scored 32 points with five rebounds and four assists. Cunningham added 16 points with ten rebounds and two assists. Both are decent plays down the stretch.
Jordan Farmar, New Jersey Nets
Farmar scored 18 points with two rebounds and 11 assists. He’s a nice play if Deron Williams shuts it down.
Goran Dragic, Houston Rockets
Dragic scored 16 points with a rebound and two assists. No.
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, Milwaukee Bucks
Mbah a Moute scored 14 points with 12 rebounds and three steals. Too inconsistent.
Hakim Warrick & Aaron Brooks, Phoenix Suns
Warrick scored 17 points with three rebounds and three assists. Brooks added 19 points with a rebound, six assists, and a steal. They are also too inconsistent.
Anthony Randolph, Minnesota Timberwolves
Randolph scored 19 points with three rebounds, three assists, and a block. He’s a nice play as long as Kevin Love is out.
J.R. Smith, Denver Nuggets
Smith scored 23 points with five rebounds, three assists, and a block. He’s been up and down all year.
Shawn Marion, Dallas Mavericks
The Matrix scored 21 points with ten rebounds. He’s been playing very well of late.
George Hill, San Antonio Spurs
Hill scored 19 points with a rebound and three assists. He’s a solid play as the Spurs rest their starters.
