Fantasy Hoops Waiver Wire Bin Vol. 10
I scoured the fantasy baskeball waiver wires to find gems so you don’t have to.
Antonio Daniels - Not only did Daniels return to the Wizards, but he makes a return to the Waiver Wire Bin. In the three games since his return he has averaged 15 points, 2.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.7 steals. What’s more impressive is the 68% clip he’s shooting from the floor.
Nate Robinson - The little guy is on quite a tear. In his past seven games he’s averaging 18.4 points per game. He’s chipped in with 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assist per game. Besides scoring, the main area he’s helping fantasy owners is three pointers made. He’s average 2.7 over his torrid stretch. He qualifies as both PG & SG.
Joe Smith - With the hot streak he’s on, Kevin McHale must be dreaming up ways he can offer Smith an under-the-table deal. Kidding aside, Smith has stepped it up to 15.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks over his past eight games. He’s shooting 51% from the floor and 79% from the line. He’s not hurting to your turnover totals either.
Bostjan Nachbar - Nachbar isn’t quite as hot as Boston, but he’s been a bigger contibuter over his last six games. During that stretch he’s averaging 12.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.5 three pointers while shooting 47% from the field and 87% from the line.
Josh Boone - Boone has been decent over his past thirteen games. He’s averaging 10.1 points and 8.5 rebounds. His 0.9 assist average doesn’t help, but he’s OK with 0.8 blocks, 0.8 steals, and only 1.1 turnovers per game. His 55% shooting from the floor will also help. You are going to have to overlook his 33% free throw shooting, which makes Shaq look like Mark Price. He qualifies as both PF & C.
Well, that’s it from the Waiver Wire Bin. Free free to leave your comments.
