Fantasy Hoops Waiver Wire Bin Vol. 5

Dec 4, 2007

I scoured the fantasy baskeball waiver wires to find gems so you don’t have to.

Carlos Delfino - Carlos had a solid week scoring 17.5 ppg to go along with 6.3 rpg.  He’s scored in double digits five straight games.  A big bonus is the 3.3 three pointers he made a game and his 51.9 FG% and 75.0 FT%.

Raja Bell - If Raja was kicked to the curb in your league because of his slow start, maybe now’s the time to welcome him back.  He averaged 13.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.3 steals per game while shooting 50%.

Jason Maxiel
- Maxiel is starting to show his promise.  Last week he averaged 13.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.7 blocks per game.  He shot 63.6% from the floor and 70.6% from the line.  What’s best is he didn’t even turn the ball over.  Bonus:  He qualifies as a SF, PF, and C.

Travis Outlaw - Travis really put up some numbers last week.  His 18.0 ppg and 7.3 rpg are much higher than his 10.5 and 4.9 season numbers.  He scored 26, 8, 17, and 21.  He also shot 50.8% from the field.  However, his 61.5 FT% could stand some improvement.  He qualifies as both a SF and a PF so he has a little flexibility.

Kurt Thomas
- If  you need a lift with rebounds and rebounds only, Kurt is your guy.  He averaged 13.3 rebounds per game last week.  He had a three game stretch where he ripped down 13, 14, and 18 (15 rpg average).  He only chipped in 5.8 points, shot 35.5% from the floor and a horrific 25% from the line.  He did manage to contribute a steal and 1.3 blocks per game though.  He qualifies as both a PF and a C.
