Fantasy Hoops Waiver Wire Bin Vol. 7

Dec 18, 2007

I scoured the fantasy baskeball waiver wires to find gems so you don’t have to.

DeShawn Stevenson - Stevenson found his scoring touch last week averaging 19.7 per game.  He chipped in 3.0 rebound and 5.0 assists as well.

Jerry Stackhouse - He’s getting a little long in the tooth, but he can still help your fantasy squad.  Last week he averaged 14.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game..  He qualifies as both SG & SF.

Kenyon Martin - The former #1 pick was pretty solid last week.  He averaged 12.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steals, 2.5 blocks, and only 1.5 turnovers.  You can overlook his shooting 60% from the line when you consider he shot 68.8% from the floor.

Craig Smith - Smith was on fire last week shooting 57.4% from the floor and 75% from the line.  He averaged 17.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.  He’s scored 30 in two of his last five games.  He has been rather inconsistent though.  He qualifies as a SF, PF, and C, which makes him valuable.

Joel Przybilla
- The big man shot 69.2% from the field allowing you to forgive his 62.5% from the line.  He averaged 8.2 ppg, but you want him for his 9.6 rpg and 2.6 bpg he put up last week.

Well, that’s it from the Waiver Wire Bin.  Free free to leave your comments.
